First batch of Trained RJ's pass out of the RJ course jointly offered by Big 92.7 FM and Access Atlantech

MUMBAI: In an endeavour to identify and nurture excellent talent and provide aspiring RJ's with an otherwise lagging formal training program, BIG 92.7 FM, India's No. 1 FM Station had joined hands with Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd, Which runs the SAE College, India for an RJ Training Course and a passing out ceremony of the first batch of students trained jointly by BIG 92.7 FM and Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd was conducted today. The event was presided by Mr. Tarun Katial, COO, BIG 92.7 FM and Mr. Rathish Babu, CEO, Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd who gave out certificates to the first batch of students who had completed the course.

This 6 week certified training program will be conducted at AAT campuses across 10 cities in India viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Dibrugarh, Cochin, Coimbatore and Trivandrum. To ensure the best in the industry in imparting knowledge that is relevant and of best quality to the students, BIG 92.7 FM had its very own in-house top management programming associates as visiting faculty. BIG 92.7 FM also lent its studios for advance level training programs at regular intervals, which ensured practical training and not just theoretical knowledge imparting. The course offered a mix of traditional RJ training as well as future technology modules. The aim was providing the student with skills on Radio, internet Radio and blog so as to bring in an integrated learning experience for the present and the much awaited future.

Speaking about the initiative Mr. Tarun Katial, COO, BIG 92.7 FM said Ever since the boom of radio, there has been a huge mismatch between supply and demand for talent and this scenario calls for some going beyond conventional measures and some out-of-box thinking to address the issue. BIG 92.7 FM acted immediately to address this issue by offering RJ training programme there by leading the development of the radio category....

Speaking on the tie up, Rathish Babu, CEO, Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd said This initiative is among the several steps taken by aat to nurture and train talent for the radio segment as a vertical. Rj is a initial rollout. We will definitely see more radio oriented courses in the coming months....
