MUMBAI: The world is his stage, but this week popular singer-songwriter Bruno Mars who has ruled American music charts with chart-topping numbers like ‘Nothing on you’ and ‘Billionaire’ will grace the stage of The X Factor USA for the semi-finals of the popular reality television show.

One of the biggest entertainment shows in America, The X Factor USA is inches away from crowning this season’s winner who will receive the coveted $5 million prize. The show is currently simulcast on Big CBS channels Prime, Love and Spark concurrent to the US.

Bruno Mars, who took the world by storm with his 2010 debut album, is no stranger to the X Factor stage. His hit singles like ‘Grenade’ and ‘Just the way you are’ have been repeatedly covered on the show. The American singer will be performing his latest chart-topper ‘Locked out of heaven’ for audiences on Saturday’s elimination episode which will decide the fate of the four acts left in the competition.

With all of Demi’s acts already eliminated, it is music mogul Simon Cowell who is in the lead with his two group acts Emblem 3 and Fifth Harmony in the semi-finals. Also battling it out will be Tate Stevens, who is mentored by LA Reid, and Carly Rose who is mentored by Britney Spears. So like Demi, will Simon get the better of LA Reid and Britney too? The exciting semi-finals will be broadcast this Saturday, on The X Factor USA at 10pm only on Big CBS Prime, Love and Spark.
