Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc. makes beautiful music with International sales for 'The 25th anniversary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert'

MUMBAI: Proving that music is indeed the universal language, Alfred Haber, founder of Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc. (AHDI), announced today that the company has recently secured numerous international sales for THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME CONCERT, the landmark music event which aired to rave reviews on HBO in the U.S. Recent sales include: Turner (Latin America), WOWOW (Japan), YLE (Finland), NOS (Netherlands), M-Net (Africa), TV2 (Denmark), XYZ (Australia), NRK (Norway), Movie Central/Astral TV (Canada), Mega Channel (Greece), Canal Plus (Spain), SVT (Sweden) and Dream TV (Turkey).

The 4-hour HBO special, which aired in late November 2009, features some of the biggest names in music and was one of the most exciting televised music events of the year  The show has been made available to international broadcasters in both the original 4-hour HBO version as well as a specially edited 3-hour (commercial running time) version.

The success of this historical extravaganza, coupled with the tremendous interest from our international broadcasters, gives credence to the fact that rock & roll is alive and well,... commented Haber. This once-in-a-lifetime musical experience celebrated the 25th anniversary of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and featured artists performing the music that inspired them. We are delighted to be inspiring television audiences around the world with this extraordinary event....

Some of the featured show-stopping performances include U2, Mick Jagger, and Fergie and will i.am. of Black Eyed Peas jamming on The Rolling Stones' classic, Gimme Shelter; Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band being joined by The Piano Man himself, Billy Joel, for an arena-rocking version of The Boss' Born To Run; and the electrifying Stevie Wonder performing with The Police frontman, Sting, on a medley of Wonder's hit, Higher Ground, and The Police smash single, Roxanne. Simon & Garfunkel, Metallica, Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck, John Fogerty, Bonnie Raitt, Ozzy Osbourne,  B.B. King, Smokey Robinson, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Dion and Crosby, Stills & Nash were some of the other music superstars to grace the Madison Square Garden stage on two consecutive, memorable evenings.

The executive producers of THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME CONCERT are Jann Wenner as executive and creative producer, and Playtone partners Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman. The special is produced and directed by Joel Gallen.
