Samsung to launch SGH-F480 in India

MUMBAI: Samsung TouchWIZ SGH-F480 will enter the Indian market with the start of the Olympics. The phone offers a full touch navigation experience - compact, yet not cumbersome.

The TouchWIZ features a 5 Megapixel camera , enhanced by professional features including Auto Focus, Power LED, Face Detection, Smile Shot and Image/Video Stabilization service. The phone has a FM radio and a music player music player plays multi-format video playback (MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, Real), and also MPEG4 video recording and editing functions.

The Samsung TouchWIZ phone gives a spacious storage option with 240MB of internal memory, and support for 8GB of expandable memory via the microSD memory card slot. It has a HSDPA speed of 7.2 Mbps which is faster than broadband.

Other features include face detection technology, image stabilizer, auto focus, CMOS video lens and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). It comes loaded with GPRS, EDGE, 3G, and functions on GSM 900/1800/1900, and WCDMA 2100 bands. It also sports USB 2.0 connectivity for transfer and download of files.

The phone has a metal body with a large 2.8-inch TFT LCD (240...320) display screen and leather cover to exude style and luxury.
