Philips re-enters Indian market with 'Xenium' series

MUMBAI: After long hiatus of eight years, Philips has re-entered the Indian mobile market with the launch of six dual-SIM handsets in 'Xenium' series.

The eco-friendly devices X518, X513, X806, X523, X116 and X121  are touted with long-life batteries which delivers stand by time of two months.

X806 device is equipped with 3-inch 262K color display, external expandable memory of 8GB micro-SD card, 5MP autofocus camera with flash, RDS FM radio, bluetooth stereo and eight hours of talk time. X806 comes with a year warranty and is priced at Rs 8,280.

Xenium X518 possesses a host of features like 2.8-inch TFT touch-screen, home-screen preset widgets, 2MP camera with flash RDS FM radio, bluetooth stereo and 16GB expandable external memory. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 5,976.

Xenium X513 comes with 80 hours music playback, storage capacity of 1000 SMS, 16GB expandable external memory, 1000 phonebook entries, RDS FM radio, bluetooth stereo and 16 hours of talk time. The handset is priced at Rs 4,776.

Priced at Rs 4992, Xenium X523 features 3.2MP camera with flash, 32 GB expandable external memory and 50 days of standby time.

Xenium models X116 and X121 are priced at Rs 2,760 and Rs 1,776 respectively and are embedded with built-in LED torch, FM radio and MP3 playback and a standby time of one month. X116 offers 8 hours of talk time, digital camera and 4GB expandable external memory card. While X121 features talk time of 7.5 hours and 2 GB expandable external memory card.
