Huawei unveils dual-SIM smartphone 'Ascend Y210D'

MUMBAI: Huawei has expanded its Ascend series with the launch of dual-SIM smartphone Ascend Y210D in the Indian market.

The handset features 3.5-inch HVGA  (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225A processor, android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, 2MP fixed focus rear camera with a CMOS sensor, 256MB RAM, 512MB of internal storage, expandable memory upto 32GB via microSD, 3G, bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, GPS and 1700 mAh battery.

India Huawei device marketing director Anand Narang said, “To enable internet access for millions of Indian youth, we wanted to offer a compelling mid-range smartphone proposition at an entry level price. Ascend Y210D will help us put a no-compromise first smartphone into the hands of millions of younger Indians in smaller towns and cities.”

The device is priced at Rs 4,999.
