MUMBAI: She swept almost all popular awards last year, including the Grammy. Continuing her haul, Taylor Swift has been nominated for three awards at the 2010 CMT Music Awards. Giving competition to Swift is Carrie Underwood who is also nominated for three awards.
Underwood was nominated for Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year for her "Cowboy Casanova", as well as Performance of the Year for her "Temporary Home". Underwood will face off Swift in the Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year categories. Lady Antebellum are also nominated for Video of the Year
Although Taylor didn't land her name on Performance of the Year nomination, she was nominated for Collaborative Video of the Year for her track "Best Days of Your Life" in which she collaborated with Kellie Pickler. The other musicians competing for teh laurels along with Swift are Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams, Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews and Blake Shelton featuring Trace Adkins.
Voting for the event winners will be open on June 8. Final nominees for video of the year to be announced during live telecast, with final voting held online at CMT.com during the show.
