MUMBAI: Tanla Solutions Limited has launched online classical music technology Guru Swara... for the assessment of vocal excellence.
'Guru Swara' technology features two sections: music library �Sangeetha Nidhi' and automatic voice assessment engine �InTune'. Music Library is comprised of vocal tracks on various lessons in Carnatic singing provided by eminent Gurus. InTune is a technology, wherein one can analyse, measure and test various singing parameters and accurately judge the students skills. It also allows the Gurus to keep track of the quality of practice of their students and help document the students' progress.
The launch witnessed the presence of Padma Vibhushan DR Mangalampally Bala Murali Krishna.
Tanla director and CTO Satish Kathirisetti said, With InTune, we offer a more complex analysis of the singing voice, not only focused in pitch characteristics but also on note analysis, timing characteristics and detecting expressivity and modulation in the performance. InTune not only gives a score but also gives feedback about how the user has performed regarding expression, tuning and tempo/timing characteristics, always keeping a baseline of music notation system and scale of singing.
