MUMBAI:  The ICC Cricket World Cup official song, De Ghumake, composed by music directors Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is #1 across music retail charts after India's win in cricket's flagship event this year  The song, available only on the Official ICC Cricket World Cup album of the same name, has been certified a Double Platinum in India since its release. The success of the track also reflects on its video views on Youtube,  which have now surpassed half a million hits.

Yuvraj Singh, the Man of the Tournament said, "I've seen the Indian cricket lovers connect with this song at such an emotional level. The lyrics just touch your heart so beautifully. In the finals, when we lost Sehwag and then Sachin early, coincidentally the song was playing and there, we had what we really needed - juta hausla badal faisla (buck up and change the game)… lyrics  that have such a rousing quality… up rose Gambhir and Virat to change the face of the game....

Virender Sehwag said, The Song gives me the goosebumps even now, as the title De Ghumake itself is such a passionate expression that creatively captures the fierce sense of competition and the desire to win.
