Apurv Nagpal quits Saregama

MUMBAI: After a voyage of more than three years, Saregama India Ltd managing director Apurv Nagpal has resigned today.

Confirming the news with Radioandmusic.com Nagpal said, “I have resigned today and the notice period is yet to be finalized. My journey with Saregama has been extremely enriching and fruitful.”

Nagpal joined Saregama as chief executive officer on 15 January, 2009. Under his leadership, the company expanded into other branches of entertainment like production and distribution of motion pictures, television, digital content and home entertainment.

His further ventures would be something related to the entertainment sector. “At present I would like to go on a holiday and spend time with my children. I will be exploring a couple of new ventures which would be related to entertainment industry, but not specifically music,” said Nagpal.

Prior to Saregama, Nagpal was marketing director of SABMiller Plc.

With over 14 years of experience across national and international industries, Nagpal has been with companies like Procter & Gamble, British American Tobacco and Reckitt Benckiser.
