MUMBAI: The King of pondering one-minuters that set you thinking took to stage for over three hours at the National Gallery of Modern Art. Gary Richardson, Alyque Padamsee, combined with sufi singer Mudasir Ali, tabla player Mehtab Khan and sitarist Madhusudan set the stage afire to a jam packed audience that took to the floor after the hall was jam-packed!

The programme began with Gary singing a piece on Mumbai Town Gonna Be Brown, Cos They Are Chopping All The Trees Down accompanied by Mudasir Ali's soul-stirring alaaps. This was followed by a performance by Mudasir Ali.

Once the stage was set, the  Mad Horses took over and how! There was Shakespeare, Arthur Miller, comedy skits, standup comedy plus Bollywood mimic Sumedh Shindey along with Cyndy Khojol, Saidah Jules, Reshu Res, Palak Shukla, Venus Chadha, Saurabh Agarwal and Pra Nav. Mudasir chipped in with the Kashmiri version of Bhumro Bhumro while Alyque Padamsee cheered from the wings. A lot of fun, fare and  melody indeed!
