Dr L Subramaniam and Ambi Subramaniam Concerts in US

MUMBAI: Dr. L. Subramaniam along with his son, Ambi Subramaniam recently did a Indian classical tour of the US, where he performed at the United Nations, New York, the Kennedy Center, Washington DC and the Warthom center, Houston. The concert tour was a tremendous success. With packed audiences and standing ovations in each of his concerts, this is a common feature for his concerts. They have gain appreciation where ever they perform.

At the United Nations, several dignitaries were present, including the UN Secretary General Ban-ki Moon and Mrs. Moon, the permanent Indian envoy to the UN Hardeep Singh Puri and Mrs. Puri, deputy PR Manjeev Puri and Mrs. Puri, Chief of Staff Mr. Vijay Nambiar and Mrs. Nambiar, as well as ambassadors from several countries including Brazil, Serbia, South Korea, etc.

The concert at the Kennedy Center (in collaboration with the Maximum India festival) saw Dr. Subramaniam draw a jam-packed audience. The distinguished guests included the Indian ambassador to the US Mrs. Meera Shankar and Mr. Shankar. After his concert, he received an instant standing ovation and left people screaming for more.
