Ajay Devgan amp Sonakshi Sinha to sing the national anthem at The Indian Grand Prix 2012

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstars, Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha will sing the National Anthem at Formula One Indian Grand Prix 2012 on 28th October 2012.  The two lead actors of the much awaited Son of Sardaar will be singing “Jana Gana Mana” just before the engines roar to life on Sunday at the Buddh International Circuit.

Ajay Devgan, an ardent motor racing fan and his leading lady Sonakshi Sinha will witness India’s biggest motor racing spectacle, Indian Grand Prix and get a chance to experience Buddh International Circuit, the winner of the 'Motorsport Facility of the Year' Award at the Professional Motorsport World Expo, Germany 2011 Awards and the ‘Promotional Promoter Trophy’ 2011 awarded by FIA.

“I have been busy with the post production of 'Son of Sardaar' and F1 is going to surely be refreshment for me. It feels great to be a part of this sport as it has perfect combination of entertainment, action and excitement. And I am surely going to enjoy the experience and I wish luck to all the racers…” said Ajay Devgan.

Also Sonakshi Sinha added, “Girls love fast cars and I just cannot wait for the race. F1 is a boys sport but I am going to prove that girls can enjoy it as well. This is my first time at a F1 race and I am going to make sure the experience is SOS Size!!”

Son of Sardaar revolves around two warring Sardar families and is the remake of Telugu Film Maryada Ramanna. Ajay Devgan will romance Sonakshi Sinha for the first time. The film, which is directed by Ashwani Dhir, also stars Juhi Chawla opposite Sanjay Dutt and  is slated for November 13, 2012 release.
