Talking about his second stint with the Coke Studio to Radioandmusic.com, Sonik said, “Whenever you do something for the first time, you have no expectations and no standards to be met. You are free to do what you wish to and try out, which is what we did last season and was appreciated to an extent. So that basic fear or apprehension always remains be it about the response, if the work will be accepted, or will it be better than the last time. Because that’s what you want to do.”

Sonik clubbed the experience, knowledge of the previous year to make this season a better venture for him. On working with Sukwinder Singh, he said, “He is such a person who does not allow any negative element affect him. Sukwinder is just amazing as a singer, composer and even writes good lyrics. We bonded more and I got to see this side closely. All thanks to Coke Studio.”

Talking about being associated with one kind of music, the composer said, “No one would like to be associated with one particular kind. But we all have our strengths and weaknesses and you actually sharpen the areas that you are good at which becomes your style. “

Sonik is a big movie buff and loves variety of genres be it a Harry Potter and also does he love a lot of Indian movies.
