The Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starrer ‘Hero’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2015 as it is the remake of Subhash Ghai’s film ‘Hero’.  Crooned by Salman Khan, ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ was the first song to be released and went on to become a rage. Radioandmusic.com reviews the album for you.

Main Hoon Hero Tera

The first song of the album is one of the most successful songs ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ sung by Salman Khan, who sounds melodious. Previously, he had sung ‘Hangover’ for the movie ‘Kick’. It's amazing how auto tuners works wonders so much so that someone who is not even trained in music could sound so professional. The other version of the track is crooned by Armaan Mallik, which sounds way better than the previous one. The lyrics of the song are penned by Kumaar.

Yadaan Teriyaan

Composed by Jassi Katyal, ‘Yadaan Teriyaan’ is a sad song, which reflects the pain of two lovers who get separated. The song starts well with rustic music. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's vocals will melt your heart and one could hear the song on loop. The other version of the song is crooned by Shipra Goyal and Dev Negi, who perfectly deliver the emotions of the track. The song has elements of folk music, but as it proceeds it has bass, drums and electric guitar.

Dance Ke Legend

Composed by Meet Bros Anjjan with whacky lyrics, this is a peppy track, which like any party number has lot of EDM influences. Sung by Bhoomi Trivedi and Meet Bros and penned by Kumaar, the track could become a party anthem of the year. The lyrics of the song are not that great though.

Khoya Khoya

This is another Bollywood romantic track from the album. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, Priya Panchal, Arpita Chakraborty and Tanishka Sanghvi, the song will make you feel as if you are seated in snow capped mountains. The highlight of song is the female vocals, which soothes your heart. The track is composed by Sachin Jigar and the song is written by Niranjan Iyengar.

O Khuda

The song ‘O Khuda’ starts off really well with engaging music and is very soulful. Sung by Palak Muchhal and Amaal Mallik the track is about the hearts sailing through an ocean of difficulties and yet the love for each other not fading away. The highlight of the track is the flutes and the guitar, which keep playing at regular intervals.

Jab We Met

Composed by Sachin Jigar, the track has got a Punjabi feel to it which makes it very lively. The song is a mix of many musical elements. Benny Dayal and Shalmali Kholgade make this dubstep-inspired track special with their vocals

Overall the music album of 'Hero' is great and the film is slated to release on 11 September, 2015. It remains to be seen if the movie lives to the expectations of the music.
