MUMBAI: Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber collapsed on stage during his London concert, after suffering from shortness of breath and was rushed to the hospital immediately. Bieber returned to the stage after the break to finish the show, and his representatives said he was doing fine. The Canadian singer had not been suffering from any health issues prior to the show. His manager Scooter Braun told the crowd, “Justin got very light of breath, the whole show he has been complaining. He's backstage with the EMTs and the doctor.”

MUMBAI: Tech giant Apple has won a copyright infringement lawsuit against Korean handset maker Samsung in UK. The lawsuit was filed by Samsung as part of the two companies' global patent battle over technology used on mobile devices. According to judge Christopher Floyd of a UK court, Apple was not found guilty of infringing upon three of Samsung's patents. A Samsung spokesperson said, “Upon a thorough review of the judgment we will decide whether to file an appeal.”

MUMBAI: Canadian country folk singer Tom Connors passed away at his home in Halton Hills, Ontario due to natural reasons. Aged 77, the singer’s toe-tapping musical spirit and fierce patriotism established him as one of Canada's biggest cultural icons. He wrote more than 300 songs and sold nearly four million albums. He was best known for songs like ‘Sudbury Saturday Night’, ‘Bud the Spud’ and ‘The Hockey Song’ amongst others.

MUMBAI: Joseph Kennedy, chief executive officer of Pandora Media, has announced that he is stepping down and the search for a replacement has begun.The announcement of Kennedy's departure came shortly after the Internet radio company reported its fourth-quarter results. Kennedy, who has led the company as chairman and CEO since July 2004, will step down after a successor is found. Under his leadership, the company grew to become the world's largest online radio service with over 67 million monthly listeners every month.

MUMBAI: In a bid to boost revenues, Facebook has unveiled a new design that will have a tab dedicated to music in the news feed. It will also provide larger space to games and advertising. On 7 March, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the redesign at a press conference in San Francisco. He said that the news feed, which provides a running list of updates from a user's network, will serve as a 'personalized newspaper' for Facebook's one billion users.

MUMBAI: After ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and ‘Aamir’, director Rajkumar Gupta has once again signed talented Amit Trivedi for his third bollywood film ‘Ghanchakkar’. The film stars Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles and is stated to release on 21 June. The music album consists of five songs all rendered by male playback singers. Amitabh Bhattacharya who has also been associated with the duo (Gupta and Trivedi) for earlier two films has been roped in to pen the lyrics.
