MUMBAI: Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber collapsed on stage during his London concert, after suffering from shortness of breath and was rushed to the hospital immediately.

Bieber returned to the stage after the break to finish the show, and his representatives said he was doing fine. The Canadian singer had not been suffering from any health issues prior to the show.

His manager Scooter Braun told the crowd, “Justin got very light of breath, the whole show he has been complaining. He's backstage with the EMTs and the doctor.”

After news of his collapse spread, fans had already started circulating the hashtag #JustinTakeABreak on Twitter.

Meanwhile the singer has published a picture of himself in a hospital bed and said he was still ‘figuring out’ what had happened to him.

He tweeted, “Getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love.”

Bieber was performing for the third out of four nights at London's O2 Arena as part of the European leg of his sold-out ‘Believe’ world tour.

The singer's London trip is not going very well. He was earlier slammed by fans for arriving late during his first concert on Monday which saw his younger fans leave without seeing Bieber perform. The singer later apologized and blamed the delay on technical difficulties and slammed the media for exaggerating it.
