NEW DELHI: Two All India Radio employees who had been re-employed after retirement have been asked to leave while a third person has been suspended and a show-cause notice is issued to the Delhi Kendra station director following allegations by radio jockeys of sexual and workplace harassment. A complaint had been made in March by more than 25 presenters for being discriminated against work allocation and salaries, and also alleged that they had been subjected to sexual innuendos and advances for the last two years.

MUMBAI: 91-year-old veteran music composer TK Ramamurthy passed away on 17 April in Chennai. The legend was suffering from a brief illness and was admitted to a private hospital, where he breathed his last. As per reports, the veteran composer, also a violinist, breathed his last this morning at a hospital.

MUMBAI: Amazon has announced the global expansion of its Appstore for Android devices with an aim to expand Amazon Appstore. It will be available in nearly 200 countries including India, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Papua New Guinea and Vatican City. The company announced that developers can now submit their apps for distribution in these 200 new markets, where Amazon will roll out its Appstore in the coming months.

He has joined media outsourcing company Fourth Dimension as business head-South. In his new role, Naidu will consolidate all products of Fourth Dimension – television, print and radio to give a 360 degree solution to all the clients. He will be based in Chennai which is his home town and will report to Fourth Dimension national sales head Sreekant R.
