MUMBAI: Chinese telecom behemoth Huawei Telecommunications will invest up to Rs 175 crores in brand building and strengthening its retail presence in India.
According to agency report, the company’s India operation is targeting 10 lakh sales of smartphones in the next six months.
"We will invest around 8- 10 per cent of our mobile devices revenue in India. In 2012, our India revenue was $300 million. The spend would be mainly in strengthening our retail presence and brand building exercise," Victor Shan, Huawei's president -- India device business development, said....
