Times Music unveils devotional albums for Ganeshutsav

MUMBAI: With the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner, Times Music has brought two musical offerings with the devotional albums ‘Aadi Ganesh’ and ‘Shri Siddhivinayak Maha Aarti’.

The devotional album ‘Aadi Ganesh’ by renowned singer Kavita Krishnamurty Subramaniam and violin maestro Dr L Subramaniam will also feature renditions by their children Bindu, Ambi and Narayana.

Based on the works of great sage Sri Aadi Shankaracharya, the album consists of his famous shlokas Ganesha Pancharatnam and Ganesha Bhujangam along with a rare Ganesha prayer ‘Jay Jay Suravarapoojita’. The album starts with an enchanting instrumental rendition depicting the five elements (earth, air, water, fire and space) and concludes with a chant ‘Om Ganeshaaya Namah’.

The second album ‘Shri Siddhivinayak Maha Aarti’ by Anuradha Paudwal comprises of the aartis sung daily in the Siddhivinayak temple. The album commence with early Morning Prayer – the Kakad Aarti followed by famous Aartis of Ganapati, Shiva, Devi, Raam, Vitthal, Hanuman and Datta. It further features Ganesh Atharvasheersha, Mantrapushpaanjali and other shlokas chanted by Shri Subhash Sadhle Guruji. Concluding with the Shej Aarti, the album is arranged and programmed by Aditya Paudwal.
