T-Series gets spontaneously patriotic with I-Day album

Mumbai: To spread the message of independence, patriotism, liberty and togetherness through the youth, T-Series got a spontaneous mob of students from Pune and recreated its famous patriotic song 'Suno gaur se duniya walon'.

Led by the city's famous drums circles band, Taal Inc, the young flash mob of 250 students called the ‘the Independent Mob' joined in and performed the song with sticks, boxes and drums to a surprised yet appreciative audience. Taal Inc also used their forte in African beats in recreating the song.

Speaking about the initiative, T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar said, "T-Series with its power of music and with Taal Inc's live performance on our famous song 'Suno gaur se duniya walon' got together around 250 college students from Pune to make music. Our initiative was to get together the youth of today to celebrate India's independence."

Video of the performance was released on the YouTube channel of T-Series.

Founded by clinical psychologist, percussionist and drummer,  Varun Venkit, Taal Inc uses drums and percussions as a behavioural intervention technique. It also conducts classes for rhythm and percussions for citizens from different communities and ages.
