Sony music acquires audio rights of Neethane Enn Ponvasantham

MUMBAI: Sony music has acquired the audio rights of much anticipated Tamil movie ‘Neethane Enn Ponvasantham’ for an altitudinous price of Rs 25 million.

Comprising of eight songs, the music is scored by musical maestro Ilayaraja and penned by Na Muthukumar. A 108-piece live symphony orchestral music will be a part of the album, including Budapest symphony orchestra ‘Hungarian National Philharmonic’.

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film is produced by RS Infotainment which earlier produced ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya’, ‘Ko’ and ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’. Audio teaser of the film starring Jiiva and Samantha was released recently. The film is scheduled to release in September 2012.

Earlier, the audio rights of ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya’, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and composed by maestro AR Rahman was also acquired by Sony Music.
