Rita Ora unveils two more collections from Adidas collaboration

MUMBAI: After quite a lengthy wait, pop singer Rita Ora has finally launched her collaboration with Adidas Originals. The capsule collection is said to be inspired by the thrift shopping that is popular with London's Portobello Road.

The 23 year old was in London to unveil two more collections from her collaboration- the Pastel and the Colourblock. Both packs are a mix of traditional gym wear that is designed to be fashionable and not just functional. The Pastel pack features simple, stylish Adidas wear in pink, blue and yellow, with Ora describing it as "This pack shows the feminine side of me that is soft and delicate. Pastels make me think of romance and the French court where pinks and a myriad pale colours evoke femininity and glamour.

Ora's other pack- Colourblock, includes a black jumpsuit and sweatshirt which is designed with sheer colour block panels, with the bold and iconic Adidas logo. Describing this pack, the British singer said, "Inspired by the sporty girl that lives in hoodies but is still sexy. I wanted to design something fun but still seductive and that's where the mesh panels come in."

Post the launch, the ‘Shine Ya Light' singer took to her Twitter account to express her gratitude saying, "Thank you @Adidasoriginals THE BEST NIGHT…. Yes to all my friends wearingthe collection!! WE are #unstoppable". It was later followed by another tweet, "Thank you to everyone who supported the collection and me last night it was truly amazing partying along side so much talent. Thank you! X" (sic).

The collection, titled #Unstoppable includes a total of five packs, of which the first- the Black pack was launched earlier in August 2014. The remaining two packs- Spray pack and Roses pack are yet to be unveiled. All three packs are currently available on the ‘Rita Ora for Adidas' website.
