Relating his experience of dubbing for Avatar, Acharya says, The voicing of the film began much before it was completed, so it was a challenge to render voices for mere graphics. The trickiest part is nobody knows how the mouth of the character will move in the final cut....

Acharya who had auditioned for the role had to learn the alien language. It was exciting to dub for Avatar as I had to learn the Na'iv language developed by James Cameron over a period of four years. We had to follow the guide books and intonations of the language of the alien language while dubbing....

Prior to Avatar, Acharya had dubbed in Hindi for several Hollywood movies including G.I.Joe, John Woo's Red Cliff, Death race to name a few.
