MUMBAI: South Korean rap star Psy’s magic failed to ignite at the recent Italian Cup final where he performed his hit ‘Gangnam Style’ before thousands of football fans who booed him.

Taking the stage half-time during a Roma and Lazio match, the 35-year old YouTube icon was booed by fans during his performance forcing organizers to turn up the volume to drown out the loud negative reaction from the crowd.

Psy looked embarrassed by the negative response, but he managed to finish his song and thank the crowd for the opportunity to perform at the big game, report said.
