MUMBAI: Fever 104 FM and 92.7 Big FM were the big winners from India with two Gold, two Silver and three Bronze metals, at New York Festivals 2011 Radio Program & Promotion Awards.

Fever 104 FM bought home two Gold grand trophies in 'Best Sound' and 'Best Editing' category for Ramayan. While Big FM won two silver awards for India Khele in 'Sports Promotion' and Hindostaan in 'Public Service Announcement', and three bronze in the 'Public Service Announcement' 'Green Promotion' and 'Station Promotion' category for programs including Short Songs, Green Durga Pooja and RAIN respectively.

Fever 104 FM chief programming officer Gaurav Sharma attended the awards ceremony in New York and recieved the Gold Trophies.

This year along with Fever FM and Big FM, other radio stations including Radio Mango, Radio Mirchi and My FM were also shortlisted, leading upto 14 nominations from India.

New York Festivals International Radio Program & Promotions Awards, awarded 36 Gold, 42 Silver, and 46 Bronze Trophies.The gala took place at the Manhattan Penthouse in New York City.
