MUMBAI: The seventh edition of the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity to be held in March, has announced its jury line-up of 40 members. The radio, film, print, outdoor and craft jury will be presided by Publicis Worldwide Global international creative director Erik Vervroegen.

The jury panel for the radio, film, print, outdoor and craft categories comprises of The Jupiter Drawing Room South Africa creative director Jonathan Beggs, Whybin\TBWA Group Australia executive creative director Matty Burton, Lua Propaganda Brazil creative director Atila Francucci, Hakuhodo Asia Pacific regional creative director Woon Siew Hoh, McCann London UK executive creative director Lolly Thomson and Jung von Matt/Alster Germany executive creative director Götz Ulmer.

Lions Festivals CEO Philip Thomas said, “This is a fantastic global line-up of industry specialists. It’s an exciting time for the awards with a programme that’s grown to introduce the new Branded Content & Entertainment category and the Independent Agency of the Year accolade, which in turn offers a true reflection of the development in the region’s creative output. It will be fascinating to see which the stand-out entries are for the 2013 juries.”

Judging will take place during the festival from 10-12 March at the Madinat Jumeirah, and cultural attachés will be on hand to assist the jury with questions relating to cultural nuances of the work being judged. Winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony slated to be held on 13 March.

The festival has also extended its deadline, with entries into the 15 categories now being accepted until 14 February 2013.
