Digital launch for Cricket World Cup single, Balle Mataram

*Written by Sameer, Sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Produced by Nishant Kollu

MUMBAI: Yet another Cricket World Cup song, this time, sung by Sukhwinder Singh, written by Samir, composed by Uday Shankar, orchestrated by Yaman Chhaya and conceived of and produced by Nishan Kollu, Balle Mataram, is out. Balle Mataram had its digital launch on Monday, and lyricist Sameer is upbeat about it.

Balle Mataram is a song that gives the feel of World Cup to its listeners,... Sameer told RadioAndMusic.com. The word balla' will help listeners relate the song to cricket. The best part is that it's sung by Sukhwinder Singh, whose voice and energy ignite the feeling of pride within the listener, and this song clearly rides upon pride for the country and passion for cricket....

Nishanth Kollu, producer of Balle Mataram, says, Balle Mataram is meant exclusively for cricket, and having Sukhwinder Singh's vocals singing Sameer's lyrics gives a bounce to the track. Balle Mataram has an emotional quotient attached to it as after 15 years the World Cup is being played on Indian soil and I don't know when again it will played in India, so I felt this is the only time for me to do something for cricket, for my country and Sachin Tendulkar. I am Sachin's huge fan and this might be his last World Cup so I just hope that all these emotions reach the listeners through Balle Mataram....

Sameer complimented Nishanth Kollu, saying, Nishant has tremendous talent and has created a great tune. This song will provide him a very good platform for displaying his talent to the whole world...
