CMO Awards names Anuj Singh Young Marketing Professional of the Year

MUMBAI: Red FM national marketing head and West head Anuj Singh added another trophy to his mantelpiece by winning the Young Marketing Professional of the Year Award at the CMO awards held in Indore on 20 November.

The CMO awards were instituted to celebrate and honour the country's most talented marketers and Singh's win recognises his contribution in spearheading Red FM to its leadership position.

Singh's career includes stints at Ernst & Young where he worked as a Senior Consultant in the Media & Entertainment Practice Group and well known media brands such as The Times of India and Radio City, where he worked in the areas of strategic planning and marketing. In addition to this, he has also been actively involved in the launch of numerous radio stations, the development of Radio Measurement & Monitoring systems.

Singh joined Red FM Mumbai in 2006 as Marketing Head-Mumbai and quickly came to head the Marketing function for Red FM nationally. For almost two years now, he has led the strategic business unit of Red FM Mumbai. Drawing on his business acumen and strategic outlook, Anuj played a pivotal role in developing Red FM's highly successful campaigns including the Touch Point Media Strategy of �Anytime Anywhere' marketing.

In 2008, he was awarded the �Young Business Leader' Award by Ad Club Bombay's Young Achievers Awards. Singh was also part of the elite set of people who were featured in Campaign India's �The A List 2009'.
