Blue Frog takes 'Smoke Signals' to Bangalore

BANGALORE: Music composers, producers and musicians Ashutosh Phatak and Dhruv Ghanekar gave a glimpse of their musical repertoire Smoke Signals at Bangalore on Monday. Smoke Signals was released by Blue Frog Records a month ago in Mumbai.

Talking to the city media about their album, Dhruv said, "Bangalore is known to have a rich tradition of music and music lovers. We are well aware of the fact that this city does not hold back in encouraging and promoting music from all across the world spanning a wide range of genres. Smoke Signals is an album that blends Hindustani Ragas to folk, bebop, jazz, rock and blues and it is a perfect first stop for our promotional tour outside of Mumbai." Phatak and Ghanekar are a part of the team that launched Blue Frog Records. Other album releases by Blue Frog Records are Light Tribe by Shaa'ir + Func and Floating Oint by John McLaughlin.
