Big Music, SEL team again for bilingual 13B
MUMBAI: Big Music has released the music of Big Pictures' first bilingual film.
Titled �13B' in Hindi and �Yavarum Nalam' in Tamil, the film is a supernatural thriller about a middle-class man and his family living on the 13th floor. A new television show is eerily similar to their family and as the show progresses, all the happenings in the show take place in the family too.
The film is directed by Vikram K Kumar and starts R Madhavan and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles and Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma and Poonam Dhillon as the supporting star cast. Music has been scored by the hit trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who are back with Big Music after two super successful albums; �Rock On!!' and �Luck By Chance'. Hindi lyrics have been penned by Neelesh Misra and the Tamil lyrics by Thamarai.
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who are experimenting with the supernatural genre for the very first time, have scored the music for eight songs and a haunting theme track in the album. �Sab Khairiyat Hai' sung by Shankar Mahadevan himself, is the quintessential song wishing everyone all the luck and hoping for the same. �Bade Se Shehar Mein' has Neelesh Misra giving life to the words. �Aasma Odh Kar' captures the couple in love, in the voice of Shankar and Chitra, romancing each other �Oh Sexy Mama!!' a 'tapori' song, could well be the life of the party and the tune of the youth. Baba Sehgal who pioneered Hindi rap in the early 90s, makes a comeback. Anushka Manchanda and Loy Mendosa join in to lend a sultry, surreal feel to the song. Jazzie Gift and Anuradha Sriram replace Baba Sehgal and Anushka Manchanda in the Tamil version.
The promotional music video for the song �Oh Sexy Mama' in Hindi and Tamil was shot recently in Mumbai. The video features Madhavan moving and grooving with top models and dancers - in the most amazing, hip-hop, underground styled video ever to hit Indian TV screens. The same songs have amazing remixes by DJ Gulraj Singh and DJ Shane.

Big Music is going all out to make sure that the music is available across all platforms. Apart from distribution in large retail format music stores, it is making sure that the album is available across non-music format stores as well. Radio stations in Hindi and Tamil markets have already started playing out the tracks. Big Music recently distributed special music CDs with a single track �Oh Sexy Mama' to all pubs, discs and gyms in all metros to popularise the track.
Big Music has aggressive plans to market the music. A high decibel marketing campaign spanning TV, Radio, Internet, Mobile and On-Ground activation is being launched targeting the music audience. Tie-ups with Java Green across their 610 outlets to promote the film, a �Date with Madhavan' on Radio One in Chennai, a music release function with the stars – all activities are set to make the popularity of the music soaring.
