MUMBAI: To create a revamped signature tune, Big FM had earlier partnered with Talenthouse India for a unique contest ‘Diwali Manao Remix Banao’. The station has today announced Mumbai-based James Manasseh as the winner of the contest, culminating the activity on a high note.

Self-trained musician and sound engineer, Manasseh’s remix won from a huge number of entries. Monitoring each entry, the team picked Manasseh’s jingle that was catchy and matched the station aesthetics. Apart from awarding him with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, the radio station also roped in renowned playback singer Shaan to lend his voice to the remixed jingle.

Manasseh said, “In this digital age where you can do amazing things with technology, Talenthouse is a place that promotes and encourages creativity. To create something that receives acknowledgement and a chance to work with industry stalwarts is a huge opportunity for me and I am very grateful to Big FM for giving me this platform.”

The foot tapping remix composed by Manasseh and rendered by Shaan was aired on the station from 14-20 November across the country.
