Artistaloud.com gives voice to reality show stars

MUMBAI: Hungama's portal for unsigned musicians ArtistAloud.com has come up with a unique concept that promises to fulfill every listener's palette starting from June 1, 2010  The music showcasing will continue till 30th June exclusively on Artistaloud.com

Different genres will be highlighted every week starting with Instrumental followed by Punjabi, Bengali and finally showcasing the individual style of well known reality show contestants and winners.

However, the interesting part about this showcase is that the last week will be dedicated to indie musicians and reality show singers singing their original songs.

The official statement says, "We feel most proud of this week as we believe we are making a difference in the industry here. With the onslaught of reality shows in the TV industry, a lot of talented singers and musicians have had the opportunity to make it to the limelight but they go out building a career singing other people's songs."

The week is dedicated to artists who have come out of Reality Shows and we present their music through Himani Kapoor, Aishwarya Majmudar, Uvie, Arindam Chakraborty, Abhinanda Sarkar, Abbhas and Shreyas and Avanti Patel.

"We are proud to believe that we have made talented reality show talents to realise that they need to create a name for themselves with there own music," the statement reads.

Instrumental music, which otherwise rarely gets any platform will be featured in the first week and artistes like Srimallya, Babu Choudhary, Pralay and Dhwani's work will be showcased. This will be followed by Punjabi musicians and singers like Rincy T, Baba Honeey, Dilpreet Bhatia, Nakash Sargam, Jaswinder Singh and Reo in the next week.

One of the most growing language preferences on the platform, Bengali artists like Deenga, Debashish Banerji, Rimita Mukherjee and Ritika Sahni will be featured in the third week.
