MUMBAI: ArtistAloud, the digital platform for independent music, is all set to launch yet another property titled ‘RockStock’ in partnership with Hard Rock Café on 8 August 2012.

‘RockStock’ is a month-long property of webisodes that will showcase rock concerts held today at Hard Rock Café’s outlets across India. Starting with Safar and Indus Creed in Mumbai, the concerts will be simultaneously held today in Bengaluru, Pune, New Delhi and Hyderabad. The concerts will open up with a local band and will be followed by established indie-rock bands like Indus Creed, Soulmate, Manasi Scott, Parikrama and Thermal & A Quarter. The concerts will be made into hour long webisodes and streamed on the portal every Wednesday at 4 pm, starting from 8 August.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, Artist Aloud AVP & product head Soumini Sridhara Paul said, “We are launching ‘RockStock’ in association with Hard Rock Café’. Today, the concerts held in HRC across the five cities will be made into hour long webisodes and streamed on ArtistAloud.com.  We wanted to associate with a venue which was synonyms with live events and would reach to audiences across the country and what better than Hard Rock Café. With this property we also take the opportunity to promote our artistes at a national level.”
