Sayani Palit wins ticket to Bollywood

MUMBAI: Benadryl BIG Golden Voice Season 2 ended successfully as the country’s one golden voice –Sayani Palit was announced as the winner. The exceptionally talented and melodious singer, hailing from Kolkata, Sayani Palit was chosen from over 91,000 entries and after going through round after round of vigorous selection procedures.Although visually impaired, she won the title of Benadryl BIG Golden Voice on her own merit with a clear edge over the other finalists from across the country.

Sayani is a professional playback singer in Kolkata and has worked in numerous Bengali movies. The gifted artist has also released her own album. In fact, ace singer and face of the Benadryl BIG Golden Voice this season, Shankar Mahadevan, was moved by her melody and voice.

As a reward, SayaniPalit has won the opportunity to do playback singing in a Bollywood movie.Speaking of her victory, Sayani Palit said, “I’m extremely excited to have won the Benadryl BIG Golden Voice Season 2 and I’m really not sure of what to say or do; I’m still unable to believe that I have actually won. I’m so grateful to 92.7 BIG FM to have given me this opportunity and if it wasn’t for them, I don’t know if I would ever be able to come on a national platform like this and compete with such brilliant music enthusiast from across the country.”

Out of 91,000 entries there were finally 12 contests in the finals and after a nation-wide talent hunt, Sayani Palit has been announced as the Benadryl BIG Golden Voice 2 sensation.
