MUMBAI: Maintaining its foothold in the ever increasing mobile market, Spice Mobiles is all set to launch ‘Android ICS ready’ a new range of smartphones in the Indian market.

The devices will run on android 2.3 Gingerbread OS upgradable to android 4.0 ICS. The handsets will have screen sizes ranging from 2.8 to 5 inches. It will feature added security with preloaded anti-virus and GPS/ AGPS, WiFi/ WiFi Tethering and dual-SIM functionality with a combination of 3G+2G.

The company aims to launch atleast one phone from this range within the next 15 days. The handsets will be priced between Rs 5,000-15,000.

Recently, the company had launched two handsets Flo Me M6868N (dual-SIM smartphone) and FLO TV M5600  (phone with Live TV).
