Sony introduces new Walkman MP3 player

MUMBAI: Sony has launched its latest range of Walkman MP3 players, the NWZ-B130F series.

The NWZ-B130F series include features range from MP3 playback to voice and FM recording as well as FM radio listening.

Available in 1GB and 2GB capacities, the 1GB model can hold approximately 650 songs and record around 43 hours of music, while the 2GB model can hold about 1,300 songs and record up to 88 hours of music.

The NWZ-B130F series is able to deliver up to 16 hours of continuous music playback, claims Sony. It also features Sony's Quick Charge function wherein three minutes of charging provides 90 minutes of music playback.The product features a direct USB connection and drag and drop interface for "easy uploading/downloading and playback of audio content."

In addition, the NWZ-B130F series allows for direct music recording and playback on supported audio systems.

The FM radio feature allows users to preset up to 30 radio stations. Also, the NWZ-B130F series features FM and voice recording, which facilitates recording and song demos.
