Motorola has announced its plans for a range of products for India - MOTOROKR EM35, MOTO VE66, and MOTOSURF A3000.

MOTOROKR EM35

ROKR EM35 is a robust music player with a full suite of dedicated keys to easily launch and control music. The press release says, whether listening via the built-in dual speakers, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology or 3.5mm stereo wired headphones, the EM35 delivers 5:1 surround sound. Users can quickly access content or search through their music library to find a song that suits the mood by simply moving a thumb across the FastScrollTM navigation wheel. Pressing or holding the dedicated 'play' key launches shuffle mode.

ROKR EM35 offers a 3.1-megapixel camera with video capture and playback capability. It comes with 110MB of on-board memory expandable up to 32GB.

While listening to music, users can just slide the device open to send a text or surf the Web. Pre-installed and downloadable 'widgets' (third-party web applications) give access to real-time information such as weather, device status, RSS reader and more. The new upgraded CrystalTalk 2.0 offers a superior level of noise filtering with in-built stereo speakers that lets you hear music clearly, even in noisy environments.

The MOTOMUSIC player enables users to listen to music while being connected to the MOTOMUSICâ„? music store. Once connected on the ROKR EM35 users can discover and access new music, preview and purchase music, retrieve artist information, share favorite tracks with friends, send music tracks as gifts and watch videos.

The ROKR EM35's compatibility with WindowsTM Media Player 11 gives consumers the freedom to manage music on the PC and discover new music by downloading it from a PC to the phone from online music stores worldwide. ROKR EM35 has an integrated FM antenna that enables FM radio to be played over stereo Bluetooth or external stereo speakers without the use of a headset. Its FM radio with Radio Data System (RDS) technology makes identifying songs and artists easy by displaying available FM station information including song title, artist and genre. MUSICID technology1 completes the music experience and provides new ways to discover music while on the go.

MOTO VE66

The MOTO VE66 offers enhanced CrystalTalk audio technology, a 5-megapixel camera and MP3 player-like navigation. The phone amplifies conversations and helps reduce background noise with enhanced CrystalTalk technology.

Pressing a dedicated camera key, the VE66 will quickly auto focus, activate an LED flash, if necessary, stabilize the image -- all to help to ensure that shots are of the highest print quality. Automatic color saturation delivers whiter whites, crisper blacks and colors true to life. Use the device's landscape feature to view photos on the brilliant color display.

MOTO VE66 offers FastScroll one-touch navigation wheel which allows users to move through menus and content with speed and accuracy. The MP3 player with USB 2.0 enables high-speed access to data and downloads on a PC while the Wi-Fi connectivity lets users browse the Internet or sharing files in the local network easy.

MOTOSURF A3000

The touch tablet's customizable home screen is layered on top of the familiar Windows Mobile 6.1 software and has many applications that can be accessed with the tip of a finger, a stylus or an omni-directional trackball. MOTOSURF A3000 is capable of SMS conversation viewing for convenient dialogue tracking.

The home screen icons can be personalized to give updates on weather, news, personal and work e-mail, messaging and calendar events. Wi-Fi connectivity makes the experience seamless and fast. Its GPS application has navigation support.

MOTOSURF has a 3-megapixel auto-focus camera, audio-out is via standard 3.5mm jack and memory is expandable up to 32GB.

Availability

MOTOROKR EM35, MOTO VE66 and MOTOSURF A3000 are expected to be available in India in Q1 2009.
