MUMBAI: LG has announced the launch of LG GS200, a low end handset which is aimed at music lovers claiming a 'rich and loud' speaker.

The phone comes with a 2 -inch LCD screen with 176x220 pixel resolution. The handset has an external speaker that, according to LG, delivers a "rich and loud" sound and aims to attract the music lovers.

Other features include FM Radio and recording, a decent music player, and memory expansion using microSD cards. It also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The handset comes in black and red hues and would be available in India for approximately Rs 6000.
