Karbonn launches smartphone Titanium S5

MUMBAI: Indian handset maker Karbonn has launched dual-SIM smartphone Titanium S5 in the Indian market.

The device features 5-inch qHD 960x540 multi-touch capacitive touch display, android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm  Snapdragon processor, 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth with A2DP, EDGE, GPRS, GPS and 2,000mAh battery.

The handset also comes embedded with navigation, acceleration sensor, light sensor and proximity sensor.

Karbonn Mobiles executive director Shashin Devsare said, “With the launch of the Titanium S5 we seek to establish our positioning into the emergent Android domain, and provide our users cutting-edge Android based mobility solutions. We are aiming to reach approximately five million smartphones devices sales with the Titanium S5 by the next financial year.”

The device is priced at Rs 11,990.
