Nakash Aziz renders qawwali for Bengali film

NEW DELHI: The singer of the flippant song 'Saree Ke Fall Sa' - Nakash Aziz – now breaks new ground by rending a qawwali – for a Bengali film where this genre is rarely used.

'Remix Qawwali' from the Bengali film 'Bindaas' is already gaining popularity among listeners and features the renowned actor Dev. Just like his other songs, Nakash's 'Remix Qawwali', as the name suggests, is also entertaining and fun.

Before this, Nakash has sung songs like 'Dhating Naach' which is still loved by listeners. Besides this, he has also sung in two other Bengali films, 'Calling Bell' and 'Game'.

Nakash has also assisted foremost music directors A R Rahman and Pritam and has rendered his vocals for the films like 'Agent Vinod', 'Cocktail', 'Barfi!', 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero', 'R. Rajkumar', 'Dhishkiyaaon', 'Highway' and 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil'.

Nakash has not only lent his voice in many Hindi and Bengali movies, but has composed music for Marathi films 'Wadhdiwasachya Hardik Shubhechha', 'No Entry', and 'Pudhey Dhokha Aahey'.

Even as 'Beqasoor Dil' of film 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' still remains popular, Nakash says, “Music can help express and share everything. Music has no language and no particular words are important, but what you feel when you express it. Let the music be of any language, it always pulls you towards it to hear."
