MUMBAI: After receiving an amazing response from the first two installments, the radio station BIG FM and TV channel Life OK has come up with their third edition of awards. The third chapter celebrates the best of Indian cinema for the month of June 2014. The voting lines are open until 1st August 2014 and the ceremony will be held on 3rd August 2014.
Singers like Neeti Mohan and Shraddha Kapoor are nominated in the category of the best female singers. Shraddha Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra starrer 'Ek Villain' is nominated in all the categories. Singer Mohammed Irfan and Arijit Singh are named for the second consecutive times in the category of best singer male. The only band to be nominated in the music category was the Pakistani Band Soch. The actor-producer Himesh Reshammiya has also made it to the music category. Music director Reshammiya made it to the best actor category last month for his film 'Xpose'.
Last edition, Irfan won the best singer male category for the track 'Dard Dillo Ke' and Palak Muchhal won best singer female category for the track 'Ice-cream Khaungi'.
The voting lines are open until 1st August 2014. The awards ceremony will be held on 3rd August in Mumbai. Audiences can vote through digital and mobile platforms.
