MUMBAI: Mustafa Zahid made his debut in Bollywood, with chartbusters songs from 'Awarapaan' first in 2007 and now with 'Zaroorat' from the film 'Ek Villain', earning him a firm footing in tinsel town.

In a candid conversation with Radioandmusic.com's, Dhairya Ingle, the 'Bhula Dena Mujhe' singer described his journey as an amazing one. "I could not have asked for more, God has been gracious to me and yes, the responses I have received so far from people has just overwhelmed me."

When quizzed about the reason for working mostly with the Mahesh Bhatt camp, the 29 year old said, "When I started working for 'Awarapaan', the whole team including me, Mohit Suri and Vishesh Films, was young. It is fun working with youngsters and the best part about them is that they do not confine you. They give you the freedom that every artiste would look for. Also the youngsters are extremely energetic and are here to prove a point."

For him the song, 'Bhula Dena' is very close to his heart, but if he had to pick his favourite it would be 'Gunnah Kiya' from the film 'Blood Money'. "The song 'Gunaah' is composed by Jeet Gannguli, who knows the kind of songs that would suit me, so yes it is always great to work with Jeet da," he said.

Zahid is an ardent football and Manchester United fan, and is passionate about sports bikes. "Mohit Suri owes me Ducati. He had promised me that if 'Ek Villain' enters the 100 crore club, he will gift me a Ducati," concluded the fan of Robin van Persie.
