MUMBAI: 'Ice cream Khaonge' singer Palak Muchhal is currently enjoying the experimentation with her voice. Initially the songstress sung soft romantic numbers but now, she is happy with the tracks she is singing.

"Post Aashiqui 2, music composers have called me to sing only soft romantic numbers, but Himeshji is one composer who has been asking me to sing commercial numbers. So I do get to experiment a lot when I work with him. Also I think the audiences get bored hearing the same type of songs, so it is always good to sing other genres. The songs that I have sung do not have any cheap lyrics or vulgarity in it," said Palak Muchhal to Radioandmusic.com.

Recently Muchhal also lent her voice for a couple of songs in the film, 'Humshakals'. For the song 'Piya Ke Bazaar Mein', she teamed up with Himesh Reshammiya and Shalmali Kholgade. "The song was dubbed separately so I did not interact with Shalmali then, but recently I met her in Dubai and she was extremely warm. We discussed 'Piya Ke Bazaar Mein' and a lot of other things," said Muchhal.

For 'Khol De Dil Ki Khidki', she collaborated with Mika Singh. Speaking about the same she said, "As we know Mika Singh brings out the best in you and the same happened with me."

Palak is also singing three songs for the Telugu version of 'Aashiqui 2'.
