Red FM ties up with Sunrisers Hyderabad

MUMBAI: As the IPL fever soars on, Red FM announced its tie up with the Sunrisers Hyderabad as their 'Principal Sponsor' and 'Official Radio Partner' for the seventh edition of the T20 league. SunRisers Hyderabad team members led by Shikhar Dhawan will sport RED FM logo on their jersey at the front.

Speaking about the special programming during the ongoing season of the IPL, Red FM COO Nisha Narayanan said, "We will have special programs during the season of IPL, but it is too early to disclose the details of the same." Additionally, Red FM will bring its saliency to the field as well as on-ground activations, which will be a national initiative. The station will also be creating engagement opportunities for our listeners and clients with the Sunrisers team.

RED FM has planned various branding activities across platforms to connect with listeners and partners over cricket. Perimeter boards, stadium concourse branding, in-stadia big screen advertising, spectator stands and seats, are some of the innovative branding initiatives to be taken be RED FM during matches.

Talking about striking a balance between two major events i.e. IPL and elections, Narayanan explained, "Our on-going campaign on elections- Dabaa Ke Bajaa, is being executed in phases, as and when the polling dates of a region come closer. The Election Commission of India has made our RJs their youth ambassadors, who will try and get maximum people from their cities to vote. IPL on the other hand, is the religion of the country. It is one of the biggest passions that connect us with our listeners. Both things are relevant in their domains and will get their due attention."

As for elections, the initiative 'Dabaa Ke Bajaa' remains the focus. Other that Red FM has also tied up with IIFA.
