MUMBAI: Crowdsourcing Week (CSW) in its second year is celebrating the spirit and achievement of this very phenomenon. It has just launched its second annual week-long conference, organised crowdsourcing summits across three continents, and built excitement around a global movement.

With the 2014 theme, ‘Crowd Impact: Empowering Transformation,’ Crowdsourcing Week Global conference will explore the numerous ways crowdsourcing and crowdfunding are transforming business, marketing, government, finance and more. Industry leaders from public and private sectors will discuss the latest trends and case studies in crowdsourcing to improve efficiency, engagement, branding, growth and innovation within organisations.

Taking place from 7 April to 11 April, 2014, in Singapore, over 50 industry leaders across the globe will share their expertise on the best crowdsourcing practices and collaborative business models during the week-long forum.

“Crowdsourcing is giving birth to a new social currency - one that is transforming our productivity in a highly networked world. We are more open to sharing, crowdfunding and creating collaborative futures today than ever before. The opportunity to apply this phenomenon is huge for organizations trying to do more with less. With CSW Global, we want to empower people to lead this transformation from within their organizations,” says Epi Ludvik Nekaj, Founder and CEO of Crowdsourcing Week.

Commenting on his participation as one of the key speakers, Arun Mehra, CEO, Talenthouse India says, “I am delighted to represent India and share Talenthouse India’s learnings to ‘Make Social Media Work through Artistic Collaboration’ on this international forum that brings together hundreds of leaders to share their thoughts and views on this innovative and flourishing business. With internet penetration in India progressing, creative crowdsourcing in India has managed to engage the right target audience and is proving to be extremely successful, especially among the youth. We all are here to share our thoughts about this ground-breaking concept and take it to next level”.

Staying true to the concept of Crowdsourcing, Talenthouse India also partnered with Crowdsourcing Week 2014 to launch a unique Crowdsourcing Campaign which invited aspiring animators and filmmakers across India to create an Animated Signature Video that will be selected as the official signature video for Crowdsourcing Week 2014. Through this Crowdsourcing campaign, CSW 2014 received 25 entries from across India. Ejaz Ahmed’s (West Bengal) entry was picked as the winner and Arun Kumar Swain from Odisha and KayDee from New Delhi were selected as the runner-up awardees. Besides, getting an opportunity to be selected as the official signature video by CSW 2014, the winning entry will receive cash incentive of Rs. 10, 000 from Talenthouse India and 5 day pass to the conference in Singapore worth Rs. 61,900 or USD 995 whereas the runner up entries will receive cash incentive of Rs. 5, 000 and 5 day pass to the conference in Singapore worth Rs. 61,900 or USD 995.
