Deezer partners with AdsWizz
MUMBAI: Music subscription services Deezer inked a deal with AdsWizz, technology provider of advertising solutions for the digital radio and audio industries. This partnership will help Deezer to easily and effectively monetise its growing global audience.
As per the deal, Deezer will participate in AdsWizz’s global audio ad exchange- AdWave which will allow it to receive audio ads from advertising agencies and networks around the world.
This timing of the deal is ideal as the later this year Deezer plans to launch its services in US. The service boasts more than 16 million unique users and 5 million paid subscribers. Its library contains more than 30 million tracks.
Deezer Ad Sales head Tristan Rachline said, "AdsWizz provides us with a monetisation solution we simply couldnot find elsewhere. With AdWave, we can tap into sources of demand around the world, and easily target advertising to individual listeners no matter where they live, creating an optimal experience for our audience and for advertisers."
Deezer’s AdWave participation will initially extend to Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands, eventually rolling out in all countries in which it operates other than France.

Other than France, Deezer's AdWave participation will be extended to Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands, eventually rolling out in all countries in which it operates. Deezer delivers its services across more than 180 countries.
