Black Keys reveal new album with a little help from Mike Tyson

MUMBAI: For some time now, The Black Keys have been teasing a new release, and now the American rock duo have made good on their word. The Ohio duo revealed the title of their upcoming album in a rather strange way, getting retired boxer Mike Tyson to tweet the news. Tyson's post simply stated "Turn Blue" and included a link.

Titled 'Turn Blue', this will be the Black Keys' eighth studio album and will be released on 13 May this year. A YouTube account called 'Turn Blue' has also been created, which features three different trailers promoting the new album. There are also reports of a new single 'Fever' by the band, which will probably be released on Monday 24 March.

Getting the former boxing champion to tweet the new album, although a little bizarre, does make some sense considering Tyson has a much bigger following on the micro blogging site as compared to the American rockers.

Meanwhile, the band will embark on a tour of Europe in June/ July after performing at the Alabama Hangout Music Fest which will be held from 16 to 18 May.

The band's last album was 'El Camino' which was released in 2011. It produced two hit singles- 'Lonely Boy' and 'Gold on the Ceiling', both of which took the top spot on the Alternative chart. The same year, the duo also won Grammy awards for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song.
