MUMBAI: After months of some rather unappealing publicity, Justin Bieber's record label head has spoken out about the teenager's scandalous behaviour saying, "He needs help." Lucian Grainge, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music is the first person from within the 'Baby' singer's circle to openly admit he needs help and went as far as saying Bieber should take a break from music.

Grainge claimed that for the past few months he has been very concerned for the pop superstar, who seems to be on a downward spiral of late. Speaking at the official Grammys after show party for Universal Music Group he said Bieber needed an intervention and the company would provide him with all the support he needed to deal with all the issues he has.

He went on to say, "Scooter Braun (Justin's manager), who I work with very closely and is supposed to be here, but is with him at the moment. The management, us... This has nothing to do with the business or records or releases, this is to do with the young man."

"But what people don't understand, he's a 19-year-old. You cannot just pick someone up and force them to do something if they are not ready," he added.

The 'Somebody To Love' singer has been involved in a string of controversies, the latest being arrested for DUI and drag racing in Miami, after which he headed to Panama for a break. It was reported that over the weekend, Braun along with R&B singer Usher, who is also Bieber's mentor, flew to Panama to persuade the singer to check into rehab.
