MUMBAI: Coming off a sold-out US tour English bass music producer and dubstep star Flux Pavilion, who has been a regular feature at festivals around the world including the Ultra Music Festival and Electric Zoo in the US and at Global Gathering in the UK and Tomorrowland in Belgium, will perform in Delhi on January 11 at Lap and in Mumbai at Juhu Hotel on January 12. Tickets for the Mumbai leg of the escalate tour will be on sale December 26 onwards on Bookmyshow.

Flux Pavilion is being brought down by Oji for the second instalment of their escalate series. The first escalate event in May 2013 featured dubstep pioneers Skream and Benga.

Tickets for escalate II featuring Flux Pavilion will be available for sale 26 December onwards. While tickets for the Mumbai show are priced at Rs 1,500 (plus taxes), fans in Delhi will have to pay Rs 1,500 at the venue.

The Delhi show on 11 January, which will be held at the very-popular venue LAP, will see India's biggest bass act, Nucleya, open for the UK-based Flux Pavilion. Nucleya's latest EP, Koocha Monster, has received rave reviews from both fans and critics alike. Tracks like Akkad Bakkad – the video for which was released on H&M's YouTube channel recently – have already attained cult status. The Delhi-based trap collective The Grind is the other act slotted for the night. The Grind has a no-holds-barred approach to dance music that veers between hip-hop, bass, moombahton and trap.

In Mumbai, Juhu Hotel will be the venue for the outdoor gig which will also see Sound Avtar and DJ Sa playing the opening sets. Sound Avtar, with monstrous bass tracks like Monster on a Rope and Scattered Light Tunnel to his name, is known to many as the man who made dubstep cool in Bollywood through his remix, KKL from the OST of Gangs of Wasseypur II. DJ Sa has opened for all major hip-hop acts in India and has given the genre a fillip in India by curating a series of gigs called Fresh with DJ Sa.
